Could you be the full-time Technical Project Manager (f/m/d) in Hamburg we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and solution-oriented teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, acting as the technical representative in front of customers and external stakeholders. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, engineering, installation, and testing), manage technical scopes, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of managing project technical risks and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical documents and solutions. We’ll look for you to: * Act as the technical representative for customers and external stakeholders * Manage and coordinate the technical scope of projects, including subsystem interfaces * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in the customer’s country * Supervise the customization and parameterization of solutions to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance commitments * Coordinate the resolution of technical issues during the warranty phase * Lead the project Change Control Board (CCB) and configuration management * Provide technical inputs for deployment, industrialization, sourcing, installation, and commissioning * Contribute to claims and variation orders identification and development All About You We value passion and attitude over experience. Alstom Ubunye (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Junior Facilities and Capex Engineerfor our COMPO project based in Nigel. POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION Junior Facilities and Capex Engineer HIERARCHICAL MANAGER Maintenance and Facilities Manager THE PURPOSE OF THE ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN ROLE IS TO: To implement Capex and POH projects and initiatives in order to improve the facilities on site. MAIN RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE: Create a predictive maintenance system for Facilities Management by creating a schedule, checklists etc Manage internal Facilities Management team with corrective and predictive facilities requests Report on progress and status of FM work requests at the end of each month Assist Maintenance Coordinator with Fixed Assets verification audit Create water, electricity and heating gas savings plans, implement actions and monitor progress Manage Capex and POH projects, from SOW to final commissioning for Facilities related topics Monitor AUC list to be 100% less than 90 days open Audit compliance to appropriate legislation for canteen, clinic etc Support ED and investigate options to reduce FM POH spend Support CSR projects which involve FM Develop and implement action plans to improve the TOP E audit score results THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE /BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Engineering Degree/Diploma 1-2 year’s experience in Facilities or Project Management in an industrial environment MS Office Knowledge is mandatory. Basic Industrial knowledge Exposure to some project management Good interpersonal skills that support effective communication and negotiation Fluent in English Data analysis Ability to create reports An analytical mind with strong math skills Ability to deal with strict timelines and multiple competing requirements * Self starter and proven ability to work independently You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
