Images correct anatomical area of interest and pathology according to department protocols. Equipment Operation and Maintenance Adjusts technical parameters to optimize image. Operates, cares for and maintains equipment. Patient Care Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies). Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time-out procedures. Professional Accountability and Partnership Maintains ARDMS, CME credits and CPR yearly or when applicable (ARRT and CMRT if applicable). Work Schedule : 90% FTE, day/evening shift. Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8:00AM – 8:00PM. Call and holiday shifts required. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI and other hospital and clinic sites within the Madison area. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : A competitive starting pay based on relevant work experience. This position also includes an evening differential. You may be eligible for a $4,500 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to: Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging. Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups. Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area.
