We want your knowledge and expertise! ##### Job Summary and Qualifications As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team that’s committed to the care and improvement of human life – one surgery at a time. What You Will Do In This Role: + You will perform delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. + You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units. + You will review sterilization records and prepare reports as assigned. + You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team. + You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department. + What qualifications you will need: + - Certification in Sterile Processing is preferred. - Previous experience in an Operating Room, Central Supply or other Material Management setting is preferred High School Graduate / GED HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball has provided quality healthcare to Tomball, Magnolia and Northwest Houston communities since 1948.
