SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR & DESIGNER
Location: Framingham, Massachusetts Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $45 - 55 per hour Our retail client is looking for a trend-savvy, strategically-minded Social Media Content Creator to join their in-house creative team. This isn't just a "posting" role-they need a hybrid powerhouse who can concept, shoot, and edit high-energy Reels, TikToks, and Stories that stop the scroll and drive traffic to stores. As part of the internal agency, you'll be the bridge between high-level brand strategy and the fast-paced world of social trends. You know the difference between a TikTok aesthetic and an Instagram vibe, you understand why an algorithm favors one transition over another, and you have the technical design skills to make it all look premium. Responsibilities: Concept \& Create: Turn weekly briefs into breakthrough social content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Carousels) for both organic and paid markets. On-Site Shooting: Head into stores to capture raw, authentic photo and video content that showcases our latest finds. Edit for Engagement: Use everything from the Adobe Creative Suite to mobile-first tools like CapCut to deliver polished, platform-native content. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Actively monitor trends and sounds, identifying opportunities for the brand to jump in authentically and "in the moment." Collaborate: Work alongside writers, designers, and project managers to ensure every frame aligns with our brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries. Qualifications: The Experience: 8+ years in design with at least 3 years focused specifically on social media content creation and video editing. The Technical Kit: Expert proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects. You are also a pro at mobile editing apps like CapCut or Splice. The Eye: A BA in Design, Photography, or Media, and a portfolio that proves it. You have a deep understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling. * The "Social" Instinct: You live on IG and TikTok. You understand how algorithms work and how to create content that feels native to the platform, not like a traditional "ad."
