About the role
**Overview** We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Healthcare Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Mental Health Facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of medical office management, and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. This role involves managing administrative functions, conducting client and staff intake, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, and supporting the delivery of exceptional client care across the board. The Healthcare Office Manager will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office workflows, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to industry standards such as HHSC, TMHP and assigned MCO's **Responsibilities** * Oversee daily administrative operations within the healthcare facility, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with healthcare regulations. * Support IMTS administrative staff, including scheduling and training. * Conduct client intake duties as assigned. * Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation using EMR/EHR systems Notable and BHC. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. * Coordinate with clinical staff to support all direct and non direct support staff. * Participate with human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, and staff development. * Monitor practice management activities including utilization management and managed care processes. . * Facilitate quality assurance initiatives aligned with Human Resource standards. * Support office management tasks such as human resources administration, office supplies procurement, and vendor relations. **Skills** * Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management roles. * Strong supervisory skills with experience in managing teams within a healthcare setting. * Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems. * Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations including TMHP standards. * Excellent fiscal management skills including budgeting and financial oversight. * Ability to coordinate multiple administrative functions effectively across diverse healthcare environments such as clinics or hospitals. * Experience with practice management software and billing systems related to managed care and utilization management. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and compliance documentation. * Effective communication skills for liaising with clinical staff, patients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
