The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration and BI solutions using the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires strong *SQL* expertise, hands\-on *SSIS* experience, and a solid understanding of data warehousing principles to support reporting, analytics, and business decision\-making. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, **optimise,** and maintain complex *SQL* Server queries, views, stored procedures, and functions. * Build, enhance, and support ETL pipelines using ***SQL*** **Server Integration Services (*****SSIS*****)** to ingest, transform, and load data into data warehouses and data marts. * Participate in BI projects, delivering trusted datasets for dashboards, reports, and analytical models. * Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. * Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency. * Design and support dimensional data models (fact and dimension tables). * Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise *SQL* Server and *SSIS* packages. * Maintain technical documentation, including ETL mappings, data models, and process flows. * Support deployments and production environments using *Azure* DevOps or similar tools. * Apply best practices for version control, change management, and CI/CD within the Microsoft ecosystem. **Required Skills \& Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of hands\-on experience as a *SQL* / BI / *ETL Developer*. * Strong proficiency in **Microsoft** ***SQL*** **Server (T\-*****SQL*****)**, including performance tuning and query optimisation. * Proven experience developing ETL solutions using ***SSIS***. * Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modelling (Star/Snowflake schemas). * Experience across the **Microsoft BI stack**, including: + *SQL* Server + *SSIS* + SSRS and/or *Power BI* (advantageous) ***In order to comply with the POPI Act, for future career opportunities, we require your permission to maintain your personal details on our database.
