Senior / Occupational Therapist

Senior / Occupational Therapist You will be responsible for evaluating and providing treatment for patients with physical, psychological and/or behavioural deficits to maximise their functional abilities. You will use purposeful activities and a variety of treatment methods to obtain a desired level of functioning in work, self-care and leisure activities. You will also be involved in health promotion activities held at career fairs and schools. There will be opportunities for development in clinical skills and specialisation in Geriatric Rehabilitation, Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation, Home Therapy, Neurological Rehabilitation and Orthopaedics Rehabilitation. Requirements - Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy - Applicants with relevant work experience in hospital or clinical setting may be considered for senior positions - Self-motivated, enthusiastic and creative in the delivery of occupational therapy services - Eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professional
