Data Analyst (Insurance/Healthcare)

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team, with a focus on the insurance and healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will leverage data to generate actionable insights that support decision\-making, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders across business, clinical, and technical teams to ensure data\-driven solutions align with organizational goals. **Key Responsibilities** * Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources including claims, policies, patient records, and financial systems. * Analyze healthcare and insurance data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support risk assessment, fraud detection, cost optimization, and customer experience improvement. * Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, operations, and clinical teams to support predictive modeling, policy pricing, and patient care outcomes. * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and data privacy guidelines, maintaining strict data security protocols. * Support ongoing projects related to automation, data integration, and business intelligence initiatives. * Provide recommendations for process improvements and strategic initiatives based on data insights. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. * 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within insurance or healthcare industries. * Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar). * Strong understanding of healthcare claims data, insurance products, and/or clinical datasets. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in healthcare and insurance data management.
