Coating Assistant - 2nd shift

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Perform various production and service activities related to the setup and operation of the coating line by following written procedures and instructions. * Perform and document all necessary testing of raw materials. * Communicate production issues to the Extrusion Coating Operator. * Communicate quality\-related decisions for the next operation using defective material identification and flagging systems. * Enter time and quantity information into the computer system. * Move raw materials and finished products as needed. * Provide essential communication during shift change. * Perform required preventative maintenance and housekeeping. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Skills \& Qualifications** * Web handling fundamentals. * Beginner level computer skills * High school math skills * Must be able to read standard ruler measurements. * The ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * English language verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem\-solving abilities. * The ability to multi\-task and work efficiently with team members. **Physical Requirements:** * Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tools and equipment. * Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds. * Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus. * Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. **About Glenroy, Inc.** Glenroy, Inc. is a family\-owned manufacturer in the flexible packaging industry, proudly delivering reliable and sustainable packaging solutions.
