**General Description** ----------------------- Provide customer service to employees and the general public and will refer and direct inquiries where appropriate. Review forms and/or documents for accuracy. Prepare attendance improvement plans and discipline documentation for Nurse Managers to review in a timely manner. Check Kronos daily for missing punches. Assist with new hire paperwork and help to schedule drug screen and fingerprint appointments. Prepare weekly and monthly reports. Assist with timekeeping for all staff. Assist with scheduling interviews and calling references. Take meeting minutes. Prepare different types of correspondence for review. Will perform related duties as required and assigned by the Human Resources Director. Pre\-employment drug screening test is required. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis. Applicants selected must successfully complete a background check. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau polices. This is a tobacco free campus. 0512P00609 **Minimum Qualifications** -------------------------- **Education:** High school diploma or the equivalent. **Experience:** One (1\) year of full\-time or equivalent part\-time experience performing clerical or secretarial work. **Substitution Information:** Additional education and experience may be substituted based on a year\-for\-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart. **About the Organization** -------------------------- William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital holds accreditation from The Joint Commission and certification by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). The hospital offers a wide range of services to patients either committed to the hospital through civil commitment or, in the case of forensic patients, ordered through the judicial system. Through ongoing collaboration with West Virginia University’s Department of Behavioral Medicine \& Psychiatry, a variety of medical and clinical professionals partner with the hospital’s own staff to work diligently with patients to achieve a smooth transition back to the community after discharge.
