Senior Business Analyst - Data & Analytics

**Location:** Remote (Must work Eastern Time hours) **Duration:** 6\-month contract with strong potential for extension to 12 months **Industry:** Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise\-wide data, analytics, and AI initiatives. This role will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, support data governance efforts, and drive the successful delivery and adoption of analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities * Gather, analyze, and document data and analytics business requirements * Support the development and governance of enterprise data products * Manage product backlogs, priorities, and release planning activities * Drive adoption and business value realization of BI and analytics solutions * Lead data analysis and process improvement initiatives * Collaborate with cross\-functional stakeholders to align business objectives and technology solutions * Support Agile delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle * Ensure data governance standards and best practices are embedded within project delivery Required Qualifications * 8\+ years of Business Analyst experience focused on data, analytics, business intelligence, or data management initiatives * Strong background working within Agile environments and delivery teams * Hands\-on experience with data governance frameworks, processes, and best practices * Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and requirements\-gathering skills * Experience working within regulated industries Preferred Qualifications * Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred * Experience supporting enterprise data, analytics, or AI programs * Familiarity with: * Databricks * Informatica * Power BI * Jira Additional Information * Candidates must be available to work Eastern Time business hours. * Preference will be given to candidates with pharmaceutical industry experience. * This is a high\-impact opportunity supporting multiple strategic data and analytics initiatives.
