Certified Athletic Trainer

Full time Athletic Trainer position available in Westchester, New York. Responsibilities include secondary school sports medicine coverage and assistance in the physical therapy clinics. Per diem opportunities are also available. Qualified candidate has knowledge of the general principles of orthopedic exercise programs, functional return to play decisions, preventative therapeutic exercise prescription for the physically active, first aid treatment, musculoskeletal assessment, referral and post\-injury rehabilitation. Must have great communication skills and work well with the team of physical therapists, physical therapist aides, and administrative staff.
