Our Occupational Therapists work closely with MDTs across a variety of clinical specialities including renal, hyper acute (AMU), stroke, medicine, surgery and care of the elderly. The role gives an opportunity to develop upon a solid clinical foundation and experience a variety of teams. It also provides developmental opportunities and the ability to support with service development and leadership opportunities. We have a strong focus on staff support and development, encouraging opportunities for further learning. ### **Main duties of the job** The post holder will be responsible for assessment, treatment planning and intervention delivery for patients referred to their caseload. The post holder will be required to supervise junior staff, technicians, assistants and students as appropriate. They will be expected to participate in development and monitoring of service standards and to assist in the running of the day to day service, and participate in the weekend working rota. ### **Working for our organisation** *St George’s, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey.
