Test Technician

As a Test Technician, you will perform skilled duties in testing, troubleshooting, repair, harness assembly, operation and maintenance of real\-time simulators, PCB modifications, and equipment calibration within the Electronics Lab. Key Accountabilities o Perform or scheduled lab equipment maintenance to ensure working order o Perform product verification and validation testing o Diagnose electrical problem and troubleshoot how to correct them using wiring schematics, repair manuals, and part catalogs as necessary o Inspect and test equipment and components to diagnose malfunctions o Assists the Controls Engineer with developing, managing, and implementing projects as needed. o Identify and implement improvements for test lab processes and fixtures. o Support a safe, inclusive workplace where all team members value diversity and individual differences. Basic Requirements: o High School Diploma or GED. OR o Associate degree with 2 plus years of experience OR o Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education o Knowledge of electronic test instruments and tools. o Knowledge of inventory control and tracking methods. o Knowledge of electrical schematics, and wiring guides o Electronic soldering and printed circuit board repair skills o Assembly of electrical test and instrumentation equipment o Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office o In order to be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen Relocation assistance is not available for this position Preferred Requirements: o Experience with IPC Electronics Manufacturing Acceptability Standards. o Experience with Electro\-static Discharge (ESD) protection. o Experience with asset and facilities management. o Problem solving techniques and Root Cause Analysis o Familiarity with cable/harness fabrication, manual soldering Job Type: Contract Pay: $21\.98 per hour Benefits: * Health insurance Work Location: In person
