**Senior Business Analyst – Pricing \& Underwriting (Life \& Pensions)** **Contract \- 6 months \- Outside IR35** **Location \- London (Hybrid \- 2/3 days a week in the office)** Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in **life and pensions** ? Do you have a passion for **building and improving pricing models** and driving meaningful business change? We’re looking for a senior Business Analyst to join a forward\-thinking team delivering a new back\-end pricing model for life and pensions products. This is a technical, analytical, and high\-impact role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems and working closely with stakeholders across business, actuarial, and IT functions. **Responsibilities \-** * Lead business analysis activities to define and deliver requirements for a new pricing model. * Work closely with underwriting, actuarial, and delivery teams to translate complex business rules into functional solutions. * Analyse data, identify insights, and ensure the model delivers accurate, compliant, and commercially viable outcomes. * Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative solutions, manage risk, and support change adoption. * Mentor and coach other team members to strengthen the organisation’s BA capabilities. **Requirements:** * Experience in pricing and underwriting, ideally within life and pensions. * Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder management. * Comfortable in a technical/back\-end focused environment, translating complex rules into actionable system requirements. * Data\-savvy, able to analyse trends and validate models. * Agile mindset with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement. * Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.
