Data Scientist (AI)

This is a hands\-on role with strong emphasis on applied GenAI/NLP and Computer Vision, built and scaled in Azure Databricks. Responsibilities * Collect, cleanse, and prepare data for analysis and modeling * Perform exploratory data analysis and develop ML/statistical models * Design and implement GenAI/NLP solutions using modern LLM approaches (RAG, fine\-tuning, evaluation) * Build Computer Vision models for real\-world use cases (fraud\-type applications, OCR, classification) * Build and maintain data pipelines/workflows in **Azure Databricks** for experimentation and production * Develop prototypes, dashboards, and executive\-ready insights and reporting * Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into data products and measurable outcomes Required Qualifications * 5–10 years hands\-on data science / ML experience * Strong Python \+ applied ML experience * Hands\-on **Azure Databricks** experience * GenAI/NLP experience (Hugging Face ecosystem, transformer models; LLaMA exposure a plus) * Computer Vision experience * Bachelor’s degree required (MS/PhD preferred) Work Authorization / Residency Requirement * USC / GC / EAD eligible * If not USC: must have resided in the U.S. for the last 5 years and cannot have traveled outside the U.S. for more than 6 months total during that period Job Type: Contract Pay: $80\.00 \- $85\.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
