The **Athletics Department** at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a **Player Relations/Special Assistant to the Head Coach** for the Football program. **WHAT MAKES GSU A GREAT PLACE?** * Flexible work environment. * Generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, tuition assistance, retirement, etc. * A knowledge\-sharing organization that works collaboratively with diverse partners. * Professional development opportunity and mentorship. * A rapidly growing center within an academic setting. **WHAT WILL YOU DO:** This person will assist with all planning and logistics of the Football program. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:** * The role will manage the head coach and football staff calendar. * Assist the head coach in developing policies and procedures for the football office. * Position will manage the onboarding of all football student\-athletes which includes admissions requirements, housing arrangements, compliance forms, competition and sports medicine evaluations. This includes the following: + On and Off Campus Move\-in + Collection of High School Transcripts and ensuring applications are completed to university + Communication to PSA's admittance to university + All paperwork upload and processes on Compliance Platform * Position will serve as the liaison to the Athletics Compliance and Ticket Office for the football program. * This position handles all communication to player parents \& families, high school coach outreach and occasional social media content creation. **Disclaimer****:** This job requisition provides a high\-level job definition.
