Business Analyst

**SUMMARY** The Business Analyst will actively partner with multiple departments (Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, eCommerce and Supply Chain) and perform financial analyses to help drive strategic decision\-making and profitable growth for Buff City Soap. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Report on sales across all relevant dimensions (e.g., channels/stores, products, customers); translate data into clear insights and recommendations that inform decision making (e.g., assortment, pricing, promotions) * Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and period results reports * Serve as an analytical thought partner to commercial leaders; create ad hoc financial analyses to support organizational decision making, aligning Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and eCommerce perspectives into a single source of truth * Analyze industry and competitive trends and make recommendations based on those trends * Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data * Performs other related duties as assigned **BASIC \& PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics or a related discipline * 1\-3 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, Marketing, Merchandising or Analytics * Advanced Excel skills required, knowledge and experience with SQL \& BI/Data Visualization tools is a plus * Excellent organizational and collaboration skills and attention to detail * Strong verbal and written communication skills **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS \& TRAVEL** * Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/ standing * Constantly operates a computer or other office equipment * Travel: Rarely (Less than 10%)
