Medical Assistant

DayaMed is currently seeking an **IN\-PERSON Medical Assistant** to support our clinic operations in the **Vacherie and Thibodaux, Louisiana** areas. **This is an on\-site position. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.** **Position Details:** * Location: Vacherie and Thibodaux, LA * Schedule: Full\-time * Work Environment: In\-clinic, patient\-facing role Key Responsibilities * Conduct patient outreach calls. * Perform medication reconciliations and help patients understand care plans. * Support patients with device setup, troubleshooting, and non\-clinical questions. * Monitor biometric device data, flag abnormalities, and escalate clinical concerns to nurses. * Document interactions, update patient records, and ensure accuracy in EMR/EHR systems. * Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and uploading documentation. * Collaborate with team members in daily workflows, huddles, and ongoing training. Qualifications * Medical Assistant credential * Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical, telehealth, or care coordination role. * Proficiency with EMR systems, digital tools, and comfort working in a clinical environment. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport over the phone. * Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow\-through. * Team\-oriented, proactive, and committed to patient\-first care. Preferred Experience * Prior experience with CCM, RPM, or BHI programs. * Experience supporting patients in office or a telehealth setting.
