Site Manager

**JOB PURPOSE** To manage daily site operations, supervise construction teams, and ensure projects are executed safely, on programme, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage and coordinate all on\-site construction activities * Supervise labour, subcontractors, and resource allocation per project programme * Ensure works comply with construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards * Implement site schedules, monitor progress, and report on performance * Enforce health and safety compliance in line with OHSA and company safety plans * Conduct toolbox talks, inspections, and quality control checks * Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics * Maintain site records: attendance, materials, equipment, and progress reports * Identify risks, delays, and non\-compliance and escalate to management * Liaise with project managers, engineers, and head office **QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Qualifications:** * National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or related field * Valid Health \& Safety certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, HIRA, First Aid – advantageous) * SACPCMP registration (Pr. CM / Pr. CPM / Candidate) – advantageous **Experience:** * 3–7 years’ site\-based construction experience (residential, commercial, or civil projects) * Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors, and construction programmes * Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and quality control processes * Practical understanding of South African health and safety legislation **KEY COMPETENCIES** * Site leadership and workforce coordination * Programme and resource planning * Quality and safety management * Problem\-solving and decision\-making * Strong communication and reporting skills Job Type: Full\-time Work Location: In person
