Reference: JHB000443-Louis-1 Engineering Production Manager Type: Temp Location: Wadeville- Eastern Suburbs Seniority Level: Mid-Career Report To: Operations Duties & Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: • Plan, cost, implement, and manage customer projects according to Order Management standards. • Perform short-term and mid-term production plans. • Coordinate overall planning of the project and decide on resource allocation. • Monitor milestones, adherence to cost, and timelines. • Maintain consistent communication with Client Managers and stakeholders. • Update programs and maintain forecast accuracy. What You'll Make an Impact: • Clarify customers' requirements and SOW • Prepare costing and timelines for quotation submissions. • Continuously liaise with accountable Client Managers. • Ensure on-time delivery and cost effectiveness. What You Bring: • Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification. • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. • 5 years of relevant work experience in heavy engineering. • Clear understanding of manufacturing drawings. • Exposure to CNC, conventional lathes, and milling machines. • Proven track record of driving efficiency in manufacturing environments.
