**Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Superintendent \- Commercial Construction**to oversee and manage large\-scale commercial projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. This role requires a detail\-oriented professional capable of coordinating multiple teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The Superintendent will play a pivotal role in maintaining quality standards, managing subcontractors, and fostering effective communication across all project stakeholders. **Responsibilities** * Lead and supervise all on\-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. * Oversee daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control measures. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of work. * Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other tools for project scheduling, budgeting, and tracking progress. * Manage project budgets by monitoring costs and implementing cost\-saving measures without compromising quality. * Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations; conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions. * Supervise subcontractors and construction personnel; evaluate performance and enforce discipline when necessary. * Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, changes, and issues; prepare reports for stakeholders. * Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets specifications and industry standards. * Address technical challenges using tools like ohmmeters; troubleshoot electrical or schematic issues as needed. **Experience** * Proven experience in **construction management**, specifically within **commercial projects**involving complex infrastructure such as pipelines or large facilities. * Demonstrated **supervising experience**on active construction sites with a track record of delivering projects on schedule. * Strong knowledge of **construction estimating**, **budgeting**, **blueprint reading**, and **project scheduling**using Primavera P6 or similar software. * Familiarity with **construction management software**such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control and collaboration. * Extensive understanding of **OSHA safety standards**along with practical experience implementing safety protocols on\-site. * Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams; experience with tools like ohmmeters is a plus. * Excellent management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control in fast\-paced environments.
