About the role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated part time **Financial Manager** to join our dynamic team at Otterspool Adventure Centre to be based on site but also to be responsible for our other business's in the portfolio, including Velocity Trampoline Parks. This senior position is pivotal in overseeing and managing the site's financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the strategic growth of the business. As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day\-to\-day financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll and financial analysis. You will work closely with the Directors to provide critical financial insights that support decision\-making and drive profitability. **Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee all financial activities and operations of the business's', including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Lead the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow management, and variance analysis. * Monitor and review all sites financial performance, ensuring targets and KPIs are met. * Prepare reports and presentations for the Directors, providing insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities. * Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax obligations. * Drive cost control initiatives and revenue management strategies to improve profitability. * Liaise directly with our Chartered Accountants. **Key Requirements:** * Proven experience as a Financial Manager, or similar role, preferably within the hospitality or leisure industry. * Strong knowledge of financial operations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards. * Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis. * Excellent proficiency in financial software (experience with leisure\-specific systems such as Roller POS is an advantage). * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable. **Why Join Us:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional development and career growth. * A supportive and dynamic working environment. **EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES** We are committed to recruitment practices that do not discriminate against any job applicant because of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership and pregnancy and maternity.
