The Software Quality Assurance Engineer II tests and validates software functionalities by developing and executing automated/manual tests, collaborating with teams, and improving testing strategies. Job Description The Quality Assurance Engineer II works on a team focused on Ignition-adjacent microservices projects. Under the guidance of a Quality Assurance Group Manager, they are responsible for developing, maintaining and executing automated and manual tests, and for reporting on the progress and status of test activities. This includes validating and verifying new and improved features with a variety of testing tools and approaches, including both automated and manual execution against both the back-end (API) and front-end (Web), as well as validating database schemas and changes. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Engineer II is directly involved in building and testing production versions of the system.
