This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into effective technology solutions that support university operations and student success initiatives. The level of the role (I or II) will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, and demonstrated capabilities. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree earned by the date of hire (Master’s degree may be considered for equivalency). * For Level I: Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, process analysis, stakeholder coordination, or solution validation, with at least 1\+ year of professional technical experience. * For Level II: Extensive experience in business analysis activities, including stakeholder engagement, independent requirements analysis, and contribution to solution delivery, with 4\+ years of professional technical experience. * Experience in roles such as business analyst, developer, project lead, or product owner is preferred. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to facilitate complex discussions and build trust with diverse stakeholders. * Proficiency with business analysis tools and methodologies, including process mapping, stakeholder analysis, and requirements documentation. * Ability to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate needs into clear, actionable requirements. * Familiarity with Agile and iterative delivery environments is a plus. * Willingness to learn new tools, methods, and technologies as required. **Responsibilities** * Lead and facilitate engagement sessions with stakeholders to clarify objectives, success measures, and constraints. * Independently elicit, analyze, and manage requirements across moderately complex initiatives. * Translate ambiguous or conflicting needs into well\-documented recommendations and solutions. * Serve as a primary liaison between business partners and technical delivery teams to ensure clarity and alignment. * Contribute to project planning, prioritization, and decision\-making processes using sound analytical judgment. * Utilize process and performance data to inform and support recommendations for improvements. * Guide testing strategies and validate that delivered solutions meet business goals and requirements. * Identify and recommend practical, incremental process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. * Support enterprise\-wide services and systems that facilitate student success and operational excellence. * Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, workflows, and project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle. **Benefits** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and position level. * Benefit\-eligible employment including health, dental, and vision insurance. * Paid time off and holidays. * Professional development opportunities and tuition assistance programs. * Participation in university\-sponsored wellness and employee assistance programs. * Access to university resources and a supportive academic community environment.
