Business Analyst

**Job Title: Business Applications Analyst** **Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States** **Type: Full Time** Our Client is seeking a talented Business Applications Analyst I to join their dynamic Talent Distribution and Reporting team within Human Resources. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective, compliant distribution of training across the entire organization while driving innovation within their Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms. If you enjoy solving complex problems, supporting enterprise applications, and improving business processes, this opportunity is for you. **What You’ll Do** * Analyze business needs and validate system requirements, serving as a bridge between business teams and technical developers. * Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for platform or process enhancements. * Support the planning and implementation of system upgrades and process improvements. * Document business requirements and participate in testing and rollout of new or updated features. * Provide day‑to‑day application support and troubleshoot system issues. * Collaborate with business partners to prepare training and procedural updates. * Communicate system impacts and recommend solutions to prevent future issues. * Maintain a strong understanding of business processes, applications, and strategic priorities. * Ensure full adherence to risk, compliance, and control standards. **What You Need** * Bachelor’s degree, or 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of degree. * 4\+ years of experience analyzing IT business processes, system design, IT documentation, or data‑related operations. * Understanding of application administration and the software development lifecycle (including testing). * Experience documenting workflows, business requirements, and technical functionality. * Knowledge of risk and controls, including identifying gaps, documenting controls, and performing control testing. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. **What Sets You Apart** * Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). * Hands‑on experience with Workday, Percipio, and Eightfold. * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. * Background in data analysis. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Detail‑oriented with strong process awareness. * Experience in risk management or change management. * Military service or experience supporting military communities (optional).
