DevOps Engineer

**Overview \& Responsibilities** **Employer:** Republic Finance, LLC **Job Title:** DevOps Engineer **Location:** 8428 Parkwood Boulevard, Plano, TX 75024 **Duties:** Responsible for the overall release, deployment, and availability of enterprise applications. Coordinate with development teams to automate consistent delivery of both legacy and greenfield products. Maintain high\-level compliance with internal standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure applicable and accurate monitoring of all work and their associated dependencies. Incorporate support for new technologies within deployment automation per requirements. Engineer build and deploy strategies that maintain minimal feedback cycles with development teams. Translate development requirements into infrastructural needs, followed by appropriate requests, implementation, and delivery. Facilitate a low\-friction and high\-velocity approach to software delivery in support of an Agile development environment. EEOE. **Requirements** Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Technology, or a related technical field. Must have 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, AWS Cloud Engineer, or a related occupation in a development, application, or technology support role in the financial sector, including experience in/with: engineering and supporting automated software delivery systems; physical and virtual (cloud) data center technologies including servers, storage, networking, and security; one or more modern programming languages; one or more modern scripting languages; concepts and principles behind ALM and SDLC; containerization technologies in a production capacity; detailing business and IT processes; conceptually reverse\-engineering existing solutions to understand architecture and logic; Windows server administration, monitoring, and maintenance; maintaining high levels of security awareness, diligence, and compliance; and making appropriate recommendations regarding modern build, test, provision, and deploy technologies. **Benefits** **Apply to: Tara Dowie, tdowie@republicfinance.com (Ref \# 0208\)**
