Operations Analyst

A growing alternative investment firm specialising in equity strategies is seeking an Operations Analyst to join its team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to gain broad exposure across a fast\-paced investment management business while contributing to the continued growth of the platform. This is a full\-time position based in London, with hybrid flexibility available one day per week. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform T0 and T\+1 trade, cash, and position reconciliations * Work closely with prime brokers, fund administrators, and counterparties to resolve breaks and maintain efficient operational workflows * Manage corporate action elections and related processes * Support the maintenance and enhancement of operational infrastructure and portfolio management systems * Monitor cash balances and margin requirements * Assist with daily P\&L production and monthly NAV processes * Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate processing of trading activity * Support FX hedging activities for share classes * Assist with treasury\-related operations * Contribute to compliance, risk management, and process improvement initiatives **Candidate Requirements** * 3\+ years’ experience in operations, middle office, or a related function within a hedge fund, asset manager, proprietary trading firm, or investment bank * Strong understanding of equities and equity market operations * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; VBA or other programming experience is advantageous * Highly organised with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast\-moving environment * Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a lean, high\-performing team * Self\-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
