**Lead Full‑Stack Engineer (Front‑End Focus)** **Location:** Hybrid Midtown Manhattan **Level:** Lead / Senior Individual Contributor A technology consultancy supporting major financial institutions is seeking a Lead Full‑Stack Engineer with a strong front‑end orientation. You’ll guide technical direction, partner directly with stakeholders, and build polished, high‑performance web applications used in complex financial environments. This is a senior IC role — no direct people management, but plenty of technical leadership and influence. **What You’ll Do** * Lead the front‑end architecture and development of a modern web application used for data‑intensive financial workflows. * Define technical approaches, document system design, and shape implementation plans across the full stack. * Contribute hands‑on to both UI engineering and backend services (using either C\# or Python). * Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to translate requirements into scalable, production‑ready solutions. * Serve as a trusted technical partner to client teams, helping them understand tradeoffs, propose solutions, and drive delivery. * Promote engineering best practices across cloud, testing, DevOps, and deployment pipelines. **What You Bring** * 5\+ years building modern front‑end applications with React and contemporary state management patterns. * 10\+ years of professional software engineering experience, including backend development in C\# or Python. * Strong experience with cloud‑native architecture (AWS preferred), containerization, and infrastructure‑as‑code. * Deep understanding of SQL, relational data modeling, and performance considerations at scale. * Experience working within large, complex, or highly regulated organizations. * Strong interest in financial markets, trading systems, or data‑driven products. * Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
