DevOps Engineer

**Role Description** This is a part\-time, remote DevOps Engineer role responsible for supporting the reliability, scalability, and security of the company’s technology platforms. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and CI tools to streamline software delivery. Daily work includes monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, managing Linux\-based servers, and improving system administration processes. The role also involves collaborating with software engineers to integrate DevOps best practices into development workflows, enhancing release quality and speed. The DevOps Engineer will document configurations, follow security and compliance standards, and recommend improvements to tools and workflows. **Qualifications** * Strong System Administration and Linux skills, including managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux\-based environments. * Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices to define, provision, and manage infrastructure in an automated way. * Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines, build automation, and integrating testing into the delivery process. * Background in Software Development, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand application lifecycles. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial. * Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure reliability and observability of services. * Strong problem\-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part\-time setting. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
