We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence. **Department:** CC018420 Safety And Security**Job Description Summary:** **Position Responsibilities** ----------------------------- * Receives and greets patients, visitors, vendors and employees in a professional and courteous manner, handling general inquiries as appropriate. * Assist team lead in maintaining a safe and organized lobby environment by monitoring visitor behavior and addressing violations of facility policies. * Wears appropriate PPE at all times (surgical masks, gloves, face shield). * Ensures that all patients, visitors, vendors and employees are wearing an appropriate surgical mask or protective mask prior to entry into the hospital. * Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times, adhering to HIPAA. * Administers basic health screening questionnaire to each patient, visitor or vendor prior to entry into facility. * Using the provided thermometer, administers temperature readings and records temperature on the screening questionnaire. * Act as a liaison between security management and the visitor control team, reporting daily operations, visitor traffic patterns, and security concerns when team lead and/or supervisor is not available.wers YES to any screening question. * Directs patient to screening area for further testing by clinical personnel. * Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 representatives, assisting in training and skill development. * Be familiar with and enforce visitation policy. * Monitors patient and visitor needs and the workflow of the hospital lobbies and entrances. * Able to remain standing for long stretches of time. * Assist in coordinating visitor flow during high\-traffic events or emergencies, ensuring compliance with security policies * Achieve goals as established by the Department; supports effective responses to adverse and sentinel events; provides an on\-going proactive approach to reduce risk; integrates patient safety as a priority into new and existing processes. * Visitor badging \- able to utilize the visitor badging system and issue badge to patients and visitors. * Maintain strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ensure team compliance with patient privacy standards. * Assists with end of shift procedures/duties, cleaning of equipment, packaging of screening station materials and storing in assigned area. **Qualifications** ------------------ * ### **License/Registration/Certification** + n/a * ### **Education** + High School Diploma preferred * ### **Experience** + One year in a healthcare or customer service related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Benefits:** We believe in the physical and mental well\-being of our employees and are committed to offering comprehensive benefits that fit their personal needs: * Health benefits * Life insurance * Long\-term disability coverage * Healthcare spending accounts * Retirement plan * Paid time off * Pet Insurance * Tuition reimbursement * Employee assistance program * Wellness program * On\-site housing for select positions and more! **Degree Requirements:** **Certification:**
