The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in preventing, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating orthopedic injuries and conditions among our designated student population. Athletic Trainers that work in our community play a major role in the active individual’s life, preventing injury and helping provide care after an injury! Join St Joseph and make a difference! JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES * Education: Requires professional education culminating in a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Sports Medicine/Athletic training from an accredited academic program. * Licensure: Must be certified in the State of Indiana as an Athletic Trainer. * Experience: Previous experience in a sport rotation preferred, will accept a new graduate from an accredited college.
