Senior Integration Developer

Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Azure Integration Developer with deep expertise in BizTalk Server and Azure Integration Services to lead the modernization of our enterprise integration landscape. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex migration projects and has a strong foundation in cloud-native integration patterns. You will be instrumental in guiding the strategic thinking of the future of integration services within Life Healthcare, including porting legacy BizTalk solutions to Azure, designing scalable architectures, and mentoring junior developers. This role entails technology leadership in that you will participate in providing technology guidance and deployment of integration technologies to future proof our business. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop a service integration architecture strategy for the enterprise (and/or assigned business unit) based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations. • Apply a structured integration architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the business and IT unit in the context of the enterprise. • Enumerate, analyze, catalog, and suggest improvements to the strategic, core, and support service integration processes of the enterprise (and/or assigned business unit), as needed, to support strategic and operational goals. • Lead senior management through the development of a service integration architecture plan for the enterprise (and/or assigned business unit). Evaluate and present information that will facilitate effective and timely decision-making through written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings with recommendations. • Create technical process model/flows that show technical integration points between applications based upon business requirements. • Act as a subject matter expert in the development of integration architecture framework, tool suite selection, and design and methodology development. • Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements to effectively support the corporate business strategy. • Supports the other architectural disciplines and champions’ enterprise wide integration initiatives. • Develop and deploy methodologies for DevSecOps and providing performance statistics and reports. • Lead the end-to-end migration of BizTalk applications to Azure Integration Services. • Architect and develop cloud-native integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid. • Analyse and refactor existing BizTalk orchestrations, pipelines, schemas, and maps for cloud compatibility. • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and development teams to define integration strategies and roadmaps. • Implement DevOps practices for integration components, including CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards. • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration designs, migration plans, and operational procedures. • Advice on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
