Process Technician - 1st Shift or 3rd Shift

**Position Summary:** The Process Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting molding equipment and processes to ensure efficient production. **Duties and Responsibilities:** · Set up and operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment according to production schedules and specifications. · Monitor production processes, adjusting as needed to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency. · Perform tooling adjustments, and machine adjustments as required to support production requirements. · Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. · Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. · Work collaboratively with production team members to identify and implement process improvements, including cycle time optimization and waste reduction initiatives. · Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. **Preferred Education and Skills:** · **5\+ years of experience as Process Tech in an Injection Molding facility.** ·High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in plastics processing or related field preferred. ·Hands\-on experience operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, with knowledge of mold setup and troubleshooting techniques. ·Strong mechanical aptitude and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues effectively. ·Knowledge of quality control principles and practices, with a commitment to producing high\-quality products. ·Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. ·Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. ·Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
