Senior Data Analyst

A Senior Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to help organizations make strategic business decisions. This role goes beyond reporting—it involves advanced analytics, data modeling, and providing actionable insights that drive performance, efficiency, and growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead end\-to\-end data analysis projects across business functions * Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources * Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics * Perform advanced statistical and trend analysis to identify insights * Translate business requirements into analytical solutions * Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership * Develop predictive models and forecasting tools * Collaborate with engineering, product, finance, and marketing teams * Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems * Mentor junior analysts and support analytics best practices **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or related field * 5–8\+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence * Strong proficiency in data querying and manipulation using SQL * Experience with programming tools such as Python or R * Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI * Strong analytical thinking and problem\-solving skills * Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities **Preferred Qualifications** * Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field * Experience with machine learning or predictive modeling * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) * Experience working with large\-scale data systems (data warehouses, data lakes) * Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation frameworks **Key Skills** * Data wrangling and cleaning * Statistical analysis and modeling * Dashboard development and reporting * Business intelligence and insight generation * Critical thinking and problem solving * Stakeholder communication and data storytelling **Tools \& Technologies** * Data querying: SQL * Programming: Python, R * Visualization: Tableau, Power BI * Spreadsheets: Microsoft Excel * Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL * Optional: Big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) **Work Environment** * Office, hybrid, or remote analytics teams * Collaboration with business, product, and engineering departments * Fast\-paced, data\-driven decision\-making environment
