Shoulder/Sports Orthopedic Surgeon -Oregon

**Job Title:** Shoulder and Sports Orthopedic Surgeon (MD/DO) **Position Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Shoulder and Sports Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive care for patients with shoulder, knee, and sports\-related musculoskeletal injuries. The surgeon will focus on both surgical and non\-surgical management of athletic and degenerative conditions, delivering high\-quality, patient\-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Evaluate, diagnose, and treat sports\-related and shoulder musculoskeletal injuries, including rotator cuff injuries, instability, labral tears, ligament injuries, and cartilage disorders. * Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing operative and non\-operative approaches. * Perform orthopedic surgical procedures, including arthroscopic and open surgeries of the shoulder and other sports\-related joints. * Provide pre\-operative and post\-operative care, including patient education and coordination of rehabilitation programs. * Collaborate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, primary care providers, and other specialists to optimize patient recovery and performance. * Manage acute injuries, overuse conditions, and degenerative joint disorders. * Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development activities. **Qualifications:** * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution. * Completion of an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery. * Fellowship training in Sports Medicine and/or Shoulder Surgery preferred. * Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. * Active medical license to practice in the state of employment. * Strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and communication skills. **Work Environment:** * Hospital, surgical center, and outpatient clinic settings. * Collaborative, team\-oriented environment with opportunities for professional growth and continuing education. **Requirements:** Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
