DevOps & Release Engineering Manager

**e\&e is seeking a DevOps \& Release Engineering Manager for an onsite contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!** We are seeking a hands\-on DevOps \& Release Engineering Manager to lead enterprise CI/CD, release management, and DevOps platform strategy across software applications, Salesforce environments, and cloud/on\-prem infrastructure. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands\-on engineering, with responsibility for driving automation, improving release reliability, and enabling faster, lower\-risk software delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** * Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Copado, and related technologies. * Lead enterprise release planning, governance, deployment automation, and release readiness activities. * Manage and mentor DevOps Engineers while helping build and scale a Release Engineering function. * Drive DevOps tooling modernization, platform improvements, and continuous delivery best practices. * Establish and track key DevOps metrics, including deployment frequency, change failure rate, and MTTR. * Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to improve delivery outcomes and reduce release risk. **Qualifications:** * Experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or CI/CD platform management. * Leadership or management experience. * Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and release management. * Experience supporting Salesforce deployments and Copado preferred. * Proven ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands\-on with engineering and deployment activities. **Preferred Skills:** GitHub Actions • Azure DevOps • Copado • Salesforce Deployments • CI/CD • Release Engineering • Azure Cloud • DevOps Automation • Change Management • Agile Delivery **Role Composition** * 50% Hands\-On Engineering * 25% Technical Leadership \& People Management * 25% Technical Product Management No C2C
