**Job Summary and Responsibilities** **Join us in shaping the future of Sports Medicine in Northern California with Dignity Health Medical Group – North State****.** **Dignity Health Medical Group – North State**, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a BE/BC **Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon** to join our established orthopedic practice and help **build a Sports Medicine program** in beautiful **Redding, California**. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice with autonomy and collaboration in one of Northern California’s most scenic and affordable regions. **Opportunity Highlights:*** Join tenured, well respected, multispecialty group * Practice alongside experienced Orthopedic Surgeons * One clinic location, one hospital * Competitive salary, benefits and generous time off * Good schools, affordable real estate, 300\+ days of sun, amazing outdoor recreation **Compensation \& Benefits:*** Competitive Compensation Range: $635,000 \- $700,000 / Year * Competitive salary guarantee, paid malpractice * Group\-paid benefits (including group contribution to HSA account); buy\-up options available * 8 weeks time off per year * Company 401k match/contribution of up to 11% of salary * Sign on bonus * Relocation incentive available * Good schools, affordable real estate, amazing outdoor recreation, easy access to Sacramento, San Francisco, northern CA coast, and Oregon **Job Requirements** ### **Responsibilities** * Provide high\-quality, compassionate orthopedic and sports medicine care in both clinic and hospital settings. * Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries, perform arthroscopic and reconstructive surgeries, and manage both acute and chronic conditions. * Collaborate with fellow orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care providers to deliver comprehensive care. * Participate in program development, community outreach, and quality improvement initiatives. ### **Qualifications** * MD or DO degree from an accredited institution * **Board Certified or Board Eligible** in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in **Sports Medicine** * Active **California medical license** (or ability to obtain) * DEA certification * Strong surgical skills and a commitment to patient\-centered care **Where You'll Work** **Dignity Health Medical Group – North State** is a dynamic, multi\-specialty group providing high\-quality, compassionate medical services across the Northern California region.
