Description: Children’s Orthopaedic and Scoliosis Surgery Associates, LLP (COSSA) is a highly respected, physician\-owned pediatric orthopaedic group with six fellowship\-trained surgeons serving Florida’s West Central region. With offices in **St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Lakewood Ranch**, COSSA is the exclusive pediatric orthopaedic partner of **Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital**, a nationally ranked children’s hospital. We are recruiting a **General Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon with a strong interest in sports medicine** to join our established Tampa Bay practice. Requirements: * MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school * Completion of an **ACGME\-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency** * Completion of an **ACGME\-accredited Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery fellowship** * Board eligible or board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery * Eligible for **Florida medical licensure** * Eligible for hospital privileges * Demonstrated ability to manage a **broad spectrum of pediatric orthopaedic conditions**, including fracture care and sports\-related injuries * Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to high\-quality patient care ### **Preferred / Desired Qualifications** * Clinical interest or experience in **pediatric and adolescent sports medicine** * Experience caring for **youth and adolescent athletes**, including acute injuries and overuse conditions * Interest in community outreach and relationship\-building with **local schools, athletic programs, and referring providers** * Comfort practicing within a **general pediatric orthopaedic call model** * Collaborative mindset and interest in long\-term partnership in a physician\-owned group ### **Professional Attributes** * Patient\-centered approach to care * Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including PAs, athletic trainers, and nursing staff * Commitment to ethical practice, professionalism, and continuous improvement * Interest in contributing to clinical education and mentorship within the practice ### **Other Requirements** * Willingness to participate in group call coverage Q6 \- APP's take 1st call * Willingness to practice across COSSA’s Tampa Bay clinic locations as needed
