Senior Compliance Officer - Crypto

Our client is a leading global crypto market maker and liquidity provider. They are looking for a Senior Compliance professional who can help strengthen controls, support regulatory engagement, and bring structure and rigor to the wider compliance framework. **Key Responsibilities:** * Advise and implement enhancements to the Compliance Program, including oversight of policies and procedures. * Strengthen and maintain the compliance framework and governance through the development and implementation of the firms policies and procedures. * Serve as a senior point of contact for U.S. regulatory bodies, including NYDFS, FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, and state regulators, and be capable of stepping in on global matters if needed. * Develop and maintain scalable compliance frameworks, ensuring readiness for new regulatory regimes (e.g., stablecoin oversight, digital asset licensing requirements). **Ideal Background:** * 5\+ years compliance experience in crypto. * Must possess a robust understanding and experience within a digital assets or trading firm. * Ability to manage teams and deliver results in dynamic, high\-pressure environments. * Experience operating in highly regulated financial institutions where regulator engagement discipline and governance frameworks are critical. * Demonstrated experience leading regulatory examinations or supervisory inquiries in a primary coordination role. *Due to the high volume of applications, if you haven’t heard back from the team on this role, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
