Compression/Lymphedema Fitter and Patient Care Associate

**Job Overview** Active Medical is seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Compression/Lymphedema Fitter and Patient Care Associate to join our team and work directly with patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and knowledge or a willingness to learn how to apply medical products to a variety of patients including compression garments and orthotics products. This role requires a team\-oriented individual who is dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience with each patient. Whether it is measuring and fitting for a compression garment, giving directions to the store, contacting a physician’s office for chart notes or setting appointments for potential patients, we strive to make everyone’s experience as smooth and professional as possible. **Company Overview:** Active Medical is a growing, reputable Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company located in Southern Oregon. We specialize in providing high\-quality, orthopedic bracing and sports medicine products, lymphedema and compression products, and post\-mastectomy and maternity products. Our mission is to improve the lives of our patients by delivering exceptional healthcare solutions with compassion and professionalism. **Key Responsibilities:** * Interact face to face with our patients. * Provide a compassionate and caring environment for patients * Measure and Fit patients with off the shelf and custom compression garments * Assist patients by phone and in person to ensure their medical needs are met with care and efficiency. * Schedule appointments for new and existing patients, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. * Work with local Lymphedema Therapists to assist in patient’s healing process * Liaise with clinics and physician's offices to obtain necessary medical documentation. * Resolve problems or disputes in a professional and empathetic manner. * Collaborate with team members to ensure patient needs are met and exceeded. * Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions according to company protocols. * Exhibit professionalism at all times in both appearance and demeanor. * Willingness to learn new skills through online courses, outside resources and hands on experience. **Qualifications** * 1 year Compression Fitting, Orthopedic Bracing, or a related field experience preferred. * Excellent organizational and time management abilities. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to adapt and multitask in a fast\-paced environment. * Willingness to learn about compression garments and the diseases that require them. * Willingness to learn and understand insurance coverage complexity for medical billing. * Strong team player with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience. * Knowledge of customer service software or the ability to learn new software quickly If you are a compassionate individual with excellent organizational and communication skills and a desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives, we invite you to apply for the Compression/Lymphedema Fitter and Patient Care Associate position at Active Medical.
