**Overview** Join our dynamic team as an Associate Head Athletic Trainer and play a vital role in promoting athlete health, optimizing performance, and preventing injuries across our sports programs. In this energetic position, you will lead injury management efforts, coordinate rehabilitation protocols, and collaborate closely with coaches, medical staff, and athletes to ensure a safe and thriving athletic environment. Your expertise in sports medicine, physiology, and nutrition will be essential in fostering athlete well\-being and excellence. **Responsibilities** * Oversee the development and implementation of injury prevention strategies tailored to various sports and athlete needs. * Lead the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries using advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics. * Coordinate with medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis, effective treatment plans, and proper documentation of injuries. * Provide health coaching to athletes on topics such as nutrition, conditioning, recovery techniques, and body mechanics to enhance performance and reduce injury risk. * Supervise athletic training staff and assist in training new team members to uphold high standards of care. * Maintain detailed records of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress while ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. * Stay current with developments in sports medicine, medical terminology, and personal training methods to continually improve athletic care practices. **Experience** * Proven experience as an athletic trainer or in a similar sports medicine role with demonstrated leadership capabilities. * Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, sports medicine principles, and medical terminology relevant to athletic injury management. * Hands\-on experience with health coaching techniques focused on nutrition, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies. * Familiarity with personal training concepts and the ability to apply them within an athletic context. * Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with athletes, coaches, medical professionals, and support staff. * Certification from a recognized athletic training or sports medicine organization is highly preferred.
