**Human Resources Manager** **Gross Motors – All Dealerships** Gross Motors is a growing, family\-owned automotive group with locations in **Neillsville, Black River Falls, and Marshfield, WI**. We are seeking a **Human Resource Manager** to serve as the primary Human Resource Business partner with all Dealership locations to align Human Resources and Safety business objectives with employees and management. This role partners with management to address Human Resources related issues, acts as an employee engagement champion, manages the performance management processes and assesses and anticipates HR\-related needs. This position will be responsible for working closely with our benefit broker(s) to evaluate and benchmark our benefits programs based on industry trends and best practices to ensure competitiveness and ability to become employer of choice. **PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:** * Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and engagement, increase productivity and retention. * Partners with Dealership Management to ensure consistent processes, procedures and compliance. * Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and maintain documentation for possible legal issues. * Serve as the initial point of contact to resolve complex employee benefits inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. * Work closely with our broker to evaluate and benchmark our benefits programs based on industry trends and best practices to ensure competitiveness. * In partnership with our broker, develop recommendations for changes/enhancements to the Gross Auto Group benefits platform. * Manage the broker relationship and serve as the Gross Auto Group point of contact. * Identify and participate in ongoing compensation program and process improvements * Provides day\-to\-day performance management guidance to management (recognition/reward, coaching, counseling, career development, performance review process, disciplinary actions, etc.). * Provide guidance and input on the locations’ organizational structure, workforce planning, succession planning, and other strategic planning and analysis. * Analyze trends and concerns to develop solutions, programs and policies. * Maintain in\-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day\-to\-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. * Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation. * Identify training needs for the location and individual management coaching needs. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow\-up to ensure training objectives are met. * Manages HR related activities such as recruitment of employees, onboarding and offboarding employees, as well as Safety and Worker’s Compensation. * Evaluates, implements and manages safety processes and policies within the leadership to drive a Culture of Safety. * All other projects and tasks as required. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred * Minimum of 5 years HR experience with a minimum of 3 years leading a site HR function. * Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws. * Relevant industry experience (i.e., sales and/or dealership experience) is a plus. **REQUIRED SKILLS:** * Strong conflict management skills. * Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support, achieve results, and build credibility. * Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues. * Manage multiple conflicting priorities. * Work in environment with international objectives. * Ability to be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels. * Ability to be self\-directed and motivated. * Take initiative to identify and anticipate client/business/employee needs and make recommendations for implementation.
