About the role

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide executive support to the CEO/President. The role involves overseeing communication, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with business development for our company. **Responsibilities** * Handles a variety of administrative tasks for the Chief Executive Officer/President, including managing the department calendar, drafting outgoing memos and correspondence, and addressing administrative issues within the Executive Office * Ensures assigned work is completed accurately and on time; responds to requests promptly and courteously; and identifies administrative needs of the Executive Office to develop appropriate solutions and/or recommendations * Greets visitors to the Executive's Office, provides assistance, schedules appointments, or directs visitors to the appropriate staff member. Receives incoming calls and answers general inquiries or transfers calls to the appropriate staff member * Assists in the execution of Board meetings, notifying media and support groups of meetings, preparing meeting materials, distributing packets, attending Board meetings to record minutes, and archiving minutes and records * Assists CEO/President with meeting preparation and attends meetings in order to learn the dynamics of housing * Coordinates special events as directed; coordinates with outside vendors to arrange rooms or other facilities, equipment, and catering; prepares and sends invitations; and ensures events are well planned and executed * Maintains and orders office supplies, furniture, and equipment as needed; processes the department's accounts payable; reviews departmental invoices and bills for accuracy; works with vendors to remedy billing issues. * Prepares travel arrangements (e.g., airline tickets, hotels, registration) and arranges travel advances for employees as requested * Assists Chief Operations Officer (COO) and others with scheduling appointments and paying invoices * Plans and schedules meetings * Prepares non\-profit board packets and monthly reports as assigned by the CEO * Assists with business development activities. * Attends meetings and workshops. * Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance * Performs other duties as assigned **Required Skills** * Exceptional professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality * Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail and follow\-through * Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priorities in a fast\-paced environment * High proficiency in Microsoft suite products * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Demonstrated initiative, problem\-solving ability, and capacity to work independently. * Ability to meet deadlines and hold others accountable for time\-sensitive tasks Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time, Internship Pay: $79,168\.84 \- $108,110\.54 per year Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
