This role supports patient recovery by delivering high\-quality therapeutic interventions while ensuring compliance with all clinical, documentation, and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Deliver skilled physical therapy services to patients with injuries, disabilities, or functional limitations. * Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, functional training, modalities, and patient education. * Accurately document daily treatments and patient progress in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory guidelines. * Monitor patient responses and report significant changes to the Physical Therapist and referring physician. * Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to support independence and recovery. * Maintain a safe, professional, and patient\-centered clinical environment. * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high\-quality care. **Qualifications** * Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. * Active PTA license/registration in the state of practice. * Experience treating acute and chronic conditions preferred. * Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. * Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient care demands. * Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus). *HSSM is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that values and encourages diversity.*
