Payments Business Analyst

**Role: Business Analyst** **Location New Jersey (Onsite)** **Type Full Time /Permanent** **Role Summary** We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive the modernization and successful delivery of complex payment solutions within the Banking domain. This role requires deep functional expertise in domestic payment processing, excellent requirements management skills, and technical proficiency in payment data analysis. **Required Qualifications \& Experience** * A minimum of 6\+ years of dedicated Business Analysis experience in the Banking Payments domain. * Strong hands\-on experience with **ACH and Wire Payments** , specifically covering the domestic payments lifecycle, processing, and exception handling. * Excellent knowledge of requirements management methodologies and tools, including documenting and maintaining **BRD, FRD/FSD, RTM, user stories, and acceptance criteria** . * Proficient in **SQL** for querying payment data, including complex operations such as joins, subqueries, data validations, and reconciliation analysis. * Proven experience with modern payment systems and standards, including **SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022** , and **Fedwire modernization** initiatives.
