Your future role at a glance: * **Sign on Bonus: $5,000** * **Department:** Kokomo High School * **Schedule:** Part Time, Monday\-Friday 1 hour before school ends to the end of practices or competition, Saturday and Sunday are dependent on what is going on at the school. * **Facility:** Ascension Medical Group \- Clinic * **Location:** Kokomo, IN How you'll make an impact in this role: Assess injuries and manage comprehensive treatment programs to prevent injury and rehabilitate collegiate and professional athletes.* Provide services within an integrated healthcare model. Collaborate with sports medicine physicians, sports psychologists, sports dieticians, and strength and conditioning coaches. * Design and implement comprehensive training, conditioning, or rehabilitation programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes. * Evaluate and manage injuries. Maintain medical documentation on each athlete and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athlete. * Prepare athletes for practice or competition based on team schedules, applicable regulations and guidelines, and in conjunction with physician and sports performance staff. What minimum qualifications you'll need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s):* Certified Athletic Trainer obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. * BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education:* Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
