Business Analyst

BlackRock Resources is seeking candidates for a Business Analyst role with our client in Houston. Reporting to Manager of Field Operations Services, the Business Analyst will partner with the Operations, Corporate Services, and Engineering groups to increase system efficiency and effectiveness through analytics. **Responsibilities** * Manage Forecast, Budget, and Variance analysis. * Deliver monthly budget analysis reports and presentations to senior leadership * Conduct work type, labor, and process safety analysis and reporting * Identify and implement operational efficiencies. * Support organizational and accounting changes; lead process mapping initiatives * Champion change management and continuous improvement efforts QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Business * 2\-3 years experience in business analytics * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Dynamics 365, and Power Apps * Experience with Microsoft Copilot (AI) in a business environment * Strong financial analysis skills, including cost trending and budget management * Solid understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting * Effective communicator with ability to present insights to senior leadership * Process\-oriented mindset with a drive to challenge the status quo
