Medical Assistant Back Office

We are looking for a clinical medical assistant who is good with kids and enjoys working in a small office environment. Responsibilities include: Taking vitals and measurements Rooming patients Administering vaccines, medications and treatments per provider orders Preparing specimens to send out to labs Placing phone calls to families regarding lab results and messages from the provider Calling in prescriptions Documentation in the Electronic Medical Record Preparation of exam rooms Supply and vaccine inventory Cross training to learn Front Office duties and fill in when needed Applicant must be personable, professional, flexible, reliable and a self\-starter with good attention to detail. Pediatric medical experience and EMR experience required. Medical Assistant certification required. New graduates will be considered.
