Chief Operating Officer

**About the Role** We are seeking a seasoned and results\-driven Chief Operating Officer to lead the day\-to\-day operations of our established consumer electronics enterprise. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for translating strategic vision into operational excellence — driving efficiency, scaling our global supply chain, and ensuring every function of the business works in cohesive alignment. This is a high\-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced, product\-driven environment and has a proven track record of running large\-scale operations in the consumer electronics or adjacent industries. **Key Responsibilities** **Operations \& Execution** * Oversee end\-to\-end business operations including supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment. * Drive operational efficiency across all departments and ensure alignment with company\-wide KPIs. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data to identify bottlenecks and optimize processes. **Strategy \& Leadership** * Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute long\-term strategic goals. * Translate high\-level strategy into executable operational roadmaps with clear accountability. * Build, mentor, and lead a high\-performing team of senior leaders across multiple functions. **Supply Chain \& Product Operations** * Manage relationships with global manufacturing partners, vendors, and suppliers. * Ensure product quality, cost targets, and delivery timelines are consistently met. * Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and go\-to\-market execution for new products. **Financial Oversight** * Collaborate with the CFO to manage operational budgets and drive cost optimization. * Monitor and report on operational performance metrics to the board and executive team. * Identify and implement strategies to improve gross margins and operational scalability. **Cross\-Functional Collaboration** * Serve as the connective tissue between product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer experience. * Champion a culture of operational discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Represent the company with key partners, customers, and industry stakeholders as needed. **Qualifications** **Required** * 15\+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a COO, VP of Operations, or equivalent C\-suite role. * Deep experience in consumer electronics, hardware, or a closely related manufacturing\-intensive industry. * Proven ability to scale operations globally across diverse markets and supply chains. * Strong financial acumen with experience managing large operational budgets. * Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated success building and developing senior teams. * Data\-driven mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under ambiguity. * Amenable to work onsite. **Preferred** * Experience in both product and services businesses within the consumer electronics space. * Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar operational frameworks. * Track record of successfully launching products in competitive global markets. * MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
